Minister Hebbalkar says LS Candidate Announcement Take 15 More Days, Mentions Son and Son-in-Law as Aspirants

Hubballi, Karnataka: Laxmi Hebbalkar, Minister for Women and Child Development, stated that it may take another 15 days to announce Congress candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections while also mentioning her son and son-in-law as possible contenders.

Speaking to media in Hubballi during a private event, Hebbalkar stated that the party is carefully considering all angles before finalizing candidates and the announcement might take another 15 days.

When questioned about her son-in-law, Rajat Ullagaddimath, potentially contesting the MP elections, she acknowledged that he, like others, has submitted an application for the ticket. Additionally, she revealed that her son has also expressed interest by applying to the KPCC. However, Hebbalkar emphasized that the final decision rests with the party high command after careful evaluation of all contenders.
